Unlocking the archives, Nike bring the past into the future by giving their signature AF1 a deconstructed aesthetic. Retaining its OG details with a contemporary twist, the hardwood icon features a Velcro strap closure across the heel that can be seen through transparent panels, whilst exposed stitching and a contrasting padded tongue add handmade touches. Stamped in a handwritten font, ‘N.354’ at the sidewall pays homage to the American long-distance runner Steve Prefontaine’s fastest mile.
