Description
Nike designer Sean McDowell took inspiration from sunsets on Florida beaches when coming up with the design for the Air Max Plus, hence this colorway’s name. The black TPU overlays mirror the way the palm trees blow in the wind, while the rest of the mesh paneling features a vibrant orange tone to mimic the color of the fading sun. The midsole shank also mimics a whale’s tale splashing out of the water. The tooling itself implements a series of Air Max cushioning units beneath the heel and midfoot for comfort.
